NinePath Terms of Use

The terms for using NinePath during this beta.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of NinePath's app and service during this beta, including the NinePath Plus features available in it.

NinePath is provided by Chris nby Ninepath, Leuven, Belgium. Email: support@ninepath.app.

Contact us at support@ninepath.app for questions, support or a consumer-rights request. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Accepting these terms does not give your consent to optional check-ins or crash reports; each needs your separate choice in the app. These terms do not remove rights that consumer law gives you.

Who can use NinePath

NinePath is for people aged 18 or older. We check age only through the birth date you give when you set up the app. If it shows you are under 18, you cannot use NinePath. This beta is by invitation only. An invitation is not verification of your age or where you live. The beta is not offered in Canada. We do not invite residents of Washington State. We invite testers from many countries, but the app, this website and our support are in English only. Optional daily check-ins are available to people aged 18 or over and need your separate, explicit agreement in the app. See Check-in privacy details. NinePath is for personal use and is available only in territories where we offer the service and where you meet the eligibility requirements. Please give accurate information and do not bypass age or territory restrictions.

Your account

You can begin with a guest account or register using the sign-in methods offered in the app. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are not automatically responsible for unauthorised activity that happened without your fault. Your readings depend on the details and preferences you give. Missing or uncertain birth information can limit the chart information available.

Guidance and AI

NinePath provides daily guidance using astrology, numerology and optional personal input, through Your sky · You · Your numbers. Part of the daily guidance is written by an AI language model from OpenAI. It writes from facts that our own code calculates, such as your numbers and the day's sky. Our requests to the AI model do not include your name, email address, birth date, birth time, birthplace, check-in answers, or payment and account details. Automated checks reduce errors, but they cannot guarantee that the text is accurate, complete or suitable for your situation. Do not assume that each reading has been written or individually reviewed by a person. Check-ins are optional and your daily reading works without them. When you use them, they personalise your reading through NinePath's own processing. Check-in answers are never sent to OpenAI.

Astrology and numerology are not scientific methods for predicting events, diagnosing conditions or deciding what you should do. NinePath is for reflection and entertainment. It does not predict your future and does not give medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial, investment or legal advice. Seek qualified professional advice when you need it, and do not delay that help because of a reading. If you need urgent help or are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. NinePath support is not an emergency or crisis service.

Access in this beta

Beta testers get all features, including Plus, free through the end of 18 November 2026 in their local time. There is no paywall and no price is shown in the beta. Beta access does not start a subscription and does not turn into paid access automatically. No future tester benefit, its conditions or continuing free Plus access is promised. During the beta we record the dates on which the app shows you a reading, for a possible future tester benefit, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Recording these dates does not give you an entitlement or start a paid subscription. Changes to beta access remain subject to your mandatory legal rights.

See the Privacy Policy and the Delete your account page for retention and deletion.

Purchases in this beta

This beta has no paywall, no prices and no purchase flow. You cannot buy anything in the beta. Any paid offer we make later will be covered by separate terms. These terms do not limit the mandatory rights that apply to this beta.

Responsible use and content

Do not access another person's account or data without permission, disrupt the service, bypass security or use NinePath unlawfully. We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app and its content for their intended purposes, subject to the applicable store usage rules and the rights the law preserves. Rights in NinePath's software, brand and design remain with their owners. We do not promise exclusive copyright ownership of AI-written text. You keep any rights you have in your input. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide the service and as explained in the Privacy Policy. You may export your own information using the tools the app offers. Think about the privacy effects before you send it to someone else.

Availability, updates and ending an account

Maintenance, technical failures or provider interruptions can affect availability or delay readings. We provide necessary security and service updates and may require an updated app version to keep using the service. We will not use a feature change or a service interruption to remove your mandatory consumer remedies.

You can request account deletion in the app or on Delete your account. We may suspend or end an account for a serious breach of these terms, for security reasons or because the law requires it. Where appropriate and permitted, we give reasons and a chance to respond. We keep your saved library as described in our Privacy Policy and review from time to time whether keeping it is still necessary. This does not extend the shorter periods for other records described in the Privacy Policy.

Apple-specific terms

These terms are between you and NinePath, not Apple. NinePath is solely responsible for the app and its content. For the Apple version, your licence is non-transferable and permits use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services usage rules, including permitted Family Sharing or volume-purchase access. NinePath is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support required by these terms or applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. NinePath, not Apple, is responsible for any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to an applicable warranty, to the extent required by law. NinePath is responsible for addressing claims relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer-protection or privacy claims. NinePath, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging third-party claims that the app or your possession or use of it infringes intellectual-property rights. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Developer contact for questions, complaints or claims: Chris nby Ninepath, Leuven, Belgium; email support@ninepath.app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a country supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with applicable sanctions and export rules.

Liability, disputes and changes

We are responsible to the extent required by the law that applies to you. These terms do not exclude mandatory liability or consumer rights. These terms impose no liability cap and no blanket "all use is at your own risk" exclusion.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. This does not take away the mandatory protections or court rights you have under the law that would otherwise apply to you. Please contact us first if you want to make a complaint. You remain free to go to the competent courts or an available consumer dispute-resolution body. Belgian consumers can contact the Consumer Mediation Service about its procedure.

We tell you about material changes to these terms before they apply, with the timing and the choice or remedy that applicable law requires. Continued use is not treated as agreement where the law requires you to agree actively. Contact support@ninepath.app to get these terms, your contract or support information in a durable format.
