Delete your NinePath account

Find the steps to delete your account here.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

You can request deletion of your NinePath account and the personal information linked to it here, including if you have uninstalled the app. You can also request deletion in the app.

Request account deletion

If the button does not open an email app, write to support@ninepath.app with the subject "NinePath account deletion request". Say that you want to delete your NinePath account. If your account has an email address, send the request from that address where possible. If you used Apple or Google sign-in, tell us which method you used. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.

If you used a guest account or cannot sign in

Contact support@ninepath.app and explain that you used a guest account or cannot access your registered account. We will help work out whether we can identify the account and verify your request, using proportionate information you can give. You do not need to reinstall the app. If we cannot identify a record from the information available, we explain why and accept further information that may help.

Do not send your password, birth details, payment-card number, readings or check-in answers. We do not delete another person's account just because someone gives us an email address.

What happens next

We acknowledge your request, verify it appropriately and explain the next steps, timing and any lawful exception. Account deletion covers your sign-in account, profile and birth details, saved readings, check-in answers and what we worked out from them, feedback you sent from the app, and other records linked to your account, subject to the limited exceptions below. We also ask RevenueCat to delete any customer record linked to your account, and retry the request if it fails. We review analytics records linked to your app installation. Where we can identify them, we ask the relevant provider to delete them. We may ask for an installation identifier where needed and explain any limits on what we can find. Resetting a device or analytics identifier does not delete records a provider already holds.

For the data we hold in Firebase ourselves, deletion normally runs while your request is processed. If a step fails, our server retries the pending work every hour. We keep track of each request until every step is done, follow up on failed steps and record the outcome. A first acknowledgement or a single completed step does not mean the whole request is complete.

We act on deletion requests without undue delay. Under EU and UK data-protection rules, we normally tell you what action we have taken within one calendar month of receiving your request. If a lawful extension is necessary, we explain the reasons within that period. We also explain any information that must be kept. Elsewhere we apply the relevant local deadline.

Information kept for a limited purpose

We may keep minimal records needed to comply with the law, show that we handled your request, resolve a specific dispute or defend a legal claim. We do not keep your check-in answers for this.

Limited recordPeriod and reason
Short-term deletion record linked to your accountKept while your request is open, then for 30 days after we close it, so we can check that every step finished.
Minimal record of the deletion requestDates, what was covered and the outcome, without your account identifier, name or email address. Kept for as long as we need to show that we handled the request, then deleted.
Record of your check-in consentYour yes or no to check-ins is deleted with your account.
Support emails about your requestKept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.
Copies held by providersFirestore version history keeps deleted versions for at most one hour after we delete them from our active systems. We keep no separate backup copies today. Google's own infrastructure deletion follows Google Cloud's data-deletion terms. RevenueCat and analytics providers delete records through their own deletion processes.

We explain any exception that applies, keep only what that purpose needs and restrict access to it. Our Privacy Policy gives the full retention schedule and your privacy rights.

Check-ins without deleting your account

You can withdraw check-in consent without deleting your account in Settings › Daily check-ins. We immediately stop using and displaying your saved answers and what we worked out from them, and delete both from our active systems within 24 hours. NinePath does not currently keep separate backup copies of check-in information. Firestore version history keeps deleted versions for at most one hour after deletion from our active systems. Google's internal infrastructure deletion follows Google Cloud's data-deletion terms. The one-hour limit is not a promise about those internal timelines. See Check-in privacy details for the full explanation.
