Your personal year in 2027 is your birthday digit plus 11, reduced to one digit, because the digits of 2027 add up to 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11. In NinePath's method every birthday gets a single digit in 2027: 1 to 9, no master.
How do I find my personal year for 2027?
Add the digits of your birth month and day and reduce to one digit. Add the digits of the year as they are (2026 counts as 10). Add the two results, then add the digits until one digit is left. In NinePath's method, a final total of 11 or 22, or one whose digits add up to 11 (such as 29), can be kept as a master number; the birthday step always reduces to one digit.
For 2027 the year always adds 11. So you only need your birthday digit, the first result above, to read your number from the table.
| Birthday digit | 2027 working | 2027 | 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 + 11 = 12, then 3 | 3 | 11, single digit 2 |
| 2 | 2 + 11 = 13, then 4 | 4 | 3 |
| 3 | 3 + 11 = 14, then 5 | 5 | 4 |
| 4 | 4 + 11 = 15, then 6 | 6 | 5 |
| 5 | 5 + 11 = 16, then 7 | 7 | 6 |
| 6 | 6 + 11 = 17, then 8 | 8 | 7 |
| 7 | 7 + 11 = 18, then 9 | 9 | 8 |
| 8 | 8 + 11 = 19, then 10, then 1 | 1 | 9 |
| 9 | 9 + 11 = 20, then 2 | 2 | 1 |

Birthday: 0 + 8 + 2 + 5 = 15, then 6. Year: 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 11. Then 6 + 11 = 17, then 1 + 7 = 8.
The personal year for this birthday in 2027 is 8.
Every single-digit result moves one step on from 2026, and 9 starts again at 1. A birthday digit of 1 gave a master 11 in 2026, single digit 2, and gives 3 in 2027.

Why can't 2027 be a master personal year?
A birthday digit runs from 1 to 9, so in 2027 the total runs from 12 to 20. None of those totals is 11 or 22, and none of their digit sums lands on 11 or 22. In NinePath's calculation across all 366 month/day combinations, 29 February included, none gives a master personal year in 2027.
The same holds in 2028, when the totals run from 13 to 21. In 2029 the year adds 13, so a birthday digit of 9 gives 9 + 13 = 22, kept as a master number with the single digit 4.
Is 2027 an 11 year?
By the year's own digits, yes. Ariel Yvon Taylor's Numerology Made Plain (Taylor, 1926) describes "the general aspect of the year itself, found by adding its digits" (page 66). On page 68 she counts 1910 and 2009 as 11 years. By the same arithmetic, 2027 adds up to 11, as 2018 did.
That year number is the same for everyone. Your personal year adds your own birthday, which is why the 11 of 2027 turns into a single digit for you. Read Taylor's year readings as tradition, not as a forecast.

Questions people ask
When does my 2027 personal year start?
In NinePath's method, the personal year changes on 1 January. So your 2027 number applies from 1 January 2027.
Does my life path change my 2027 personal year?
No. The personal cycle doesn't use your Life Path. Only your birth month and day and the year are added.
